Game 1: Rookie pitcher Matt Wing pitched a complete game 4 hitter striking out 8 while walking none. Port Hope's Cory Baker also pitched well surrendering only 5 hits to the Ponies. Ryan Kersten with a single and a homerun and James Hornby with a 2 run homerun led the offence. Final score was Kingston 4 Port Hope 1.

Game 2: This game also featured strong pitching performances from Kingston's Brett Gibson (who gave up 5 hits while striking out 6 and walking 3 batters) and Port Hope's Marc Macdonald. Jed Vallier who was 3 for 3 with a 2 run homerun drove in all 3 Ponies' runs while A. J. Burlington went 2 for 2 with a walk. Brett Jiggins with a solo homerun scored the Flyers only run. Final score Kingston 3 Port Hope 1
